Wegro Farming (Pty) Ltd is a third-generation family-runned business established more than 30 years ago.
The first pineapples were planted 55 years ago in the 1960's by the founder Mr Dries Bisschoff.

Today Wegro Farming has grown into the largest Queen pineapple producer in South Africa and has established itself as the leading brand in Queen pineapples.

In the early 90's the business expanded into packaging with the establishment of Bes Boks (Pty) Ltd,  with the purpose of becoming self sufficient in packaging.
